Description: B.W. is a handsome blue grey Tuxedo male with quite a personality. He has a tipped ear so at some point, he was neutered and left outside as a feral cat, but be assured, this cat was someones beloved cat once upon a time. B.W. was found hanging around Best Western (B.W.) in Green Valley and desperately wanted to go inside. Paws Patrol took him and found he was already neutered. He loves to be petted and carried. Whoever let B.W. be an outside kitty, made a big mistake. He has tested positive for BOTH FELV and FIV so he cant be around other cats. (And he probably acquired one of these viruses from other outdoor cats.) However, he is perfectly safe around dogs, adults and kids. He is currently a picture of health and may be for several years to come. What he needs most is someone to give him a home and lots of love. Paws Patrol will cover all FELV/FIV related health expenses at Valley Verde Vet for 6 months after adoption. Adoption fees for kittens (under 6 months), $50.00 for one or $75.00 for two. For cats older than 6 months but less than 5 years, $40.00 for 1 or $60.00 for 2. For cats older than 5 years, $25.00 for 1 or $35.00 for 2. By the way, if you adopt a kitten, the "Mom" can go with it for free (a built-in babysitter). SPECIAL for Active military may adopt for 1/2 the current adoption rate. And in case of transfer or deployment, Paws Patrol will always take the cat back and place it in a foster home until you return. Please refer to your adoption packet to see all the veterinary tests and procedures that have already been done. Now your new kitty can also have a wellness check at Valley Verde Clinic. But you must make the appointment within seven to ten days of the adoption date and tell them this is a kitty from Paws Patrol. Seniors age 65 or older and disabled persons of any age may qualify to adopt one cat over 6 months of age free of charge. All members of the household must be at least age 50. We may request a visit prior to adopting, and again after the adoption to insure the cat is fitting in, is secure and has adequate care. If you object to a home visit, please say so before starting the adoption process. Paws Patrol does not allow declawing. They will show you how to trim claws. If you insist on having a declawed cat, please look for a cat that has previously been declawed Since we are a small community-based group with limited resources and membership, our TNR service area is Sahuarita to Nogales only. We are unable to service the feral or stray cats of Tucson. We do adopt to anywhere in Southern Arizona. Paws Patrol cats and kittens live in foster homes which provides them with the love and special attention they deserve. Paws Patrol cats are to be INDOOR ONLY cats.
