1965 Comet Gasser/AFX project street or show drag car in Green Valley, Arizona For Sale

For sale, my xxxx Mercury Comet 2dr hardtop A/Gas rehab project. Bought this car to build and altered wheel base gasser, 60s style street/show machine. Have accepted that at my age, I'm probably never going to finish it. And have reluctantly decided to sell it.
It has the spring towers eliminated, a rebuilt 351w block, with new Edelbrock 302 aluminum heads, new Edelbrock air gap aluminum intake, Holley 4 barrel, new Lunati cam, new block hugger headers, new Lakewood scatter shield and block plate, Hurst Shifter on a new ford top loader 4 speed, Ford nine inch rear, 430:1 ratio with spool, new center section , Holley fuel pump, Russell marine canister style fuel filter, cowl mounted fuel pressure gauge, Mallory fuel pressure regulator, Holley electric fuel pump, 12 gallon fuel cell with braided steel lines to filter and pump, Russell fuel lines to regulator, Auto Meter Tachometer . And much more.
Comes with wheels and tires shown in picture. Rear tires are too small for rims, came with car. It also comes with Crites fiberglass hood, fiberglass front bumper and valance, and fiberglass rear bumper. And some other parts, I have laying around.

This is a project car, don't come expecting a finished shinny queen. Have video of engine start up, and running.
It need some floor work finished, roll bar completed, (comes with tubing to finish) Some rust repair around lower trunk lip and a few other places here and there. (I have most of the patch pieces) and am currently working on this. Wiring needs redone, .it's all temporary now, fenders remounted, and rear fender wells moved forward to match altered wheel base
The asking price is firm. $7,000.00 with engine and transmission or $4,000.00 without engine and transmission. I have a rebuild able 351, with a C-6 available from a 71 cougar if you want to change it over, for $300.00 Car has a clear Arizona title in my name.
Car is available for inspection, by arrangement. Tire kickers, and how it should have been done experts not welcome. Come see my car, if you like it and want it, buy it. If you don't like the car, don't like the price don't buy it. I will not bargain it down. I want to sell it, not give it away. Not in any hurry for it to leave the nest.
